Cara Birrittieri is an award-winning television reporter who covered health and medicine in Boston , throughout New England for national & international audiences and has reported extensively on reproduction issues. Her awards include an Emmy Nomination, the Health & Science Journalist's Award from the American Heart Association, and the Award of Excellence from the American Medical Writer's Association. Since undergoing her own battle with her biological clock, she has appeared on many health news segments involving infertility. She resides outside Boston , MA , with her husband, 5-year-old son, and infant daughter.
